Located in the most pivotal retail precinct of Preston and bounded by both Northland Homemaker Centre and Northland Shopping Centre, this small showroom complex which was originally constructed as three separate tenancies was transformed to accommodate the requirements of a vibrant and leading Australian owned and operated company. Requiring more floor area than one showroom could offer, the existing arrangement was altered, melding two showrooms and re-working the existing internal layout. Achieving this with the removal of a shared tenancy wall and previous tenancy additions, prior negotiations with the incoming occupant also necessitated the provision of base internal works consisting of a full suspended ceiling grid system with recessed fluorescent troffer lighting, new mechanical plant and sealed flooring.

In delivering the above project, the role of GPG as Project Manager encompassed the following responsibilities and tasks:
• evaluation of all sub-contractor tenders
• appointment of sub-contractors
• co-ordination of required trades
• administration of all sub-contractor contracts
• qualification and issuing of certificates for all payment claims
• follow up and provision to client of full documentation (as built drawings, warranties, etc)
• handover.
